01

Most big walls fail years later, not on day one.

When a large wall is priced as a cheap job instead of built to a standard, the corners that get cut are the ones you cannot see, until it starts to lean, crack or blow out.

The materials are rarely the problem. It is the ground underneath that decides whether it holds.

02

An excavation crew that builds walls.

Most retaining jobs sub out the dig, the drainage or both. We do the lot in-house, so the ground, the structure and the finish are all held to one standard by the same crew.

A wall is only as good as the ground it sits on. We control both.

Proven on serious jobs

Built for the jobs that leave no room for error.

Align works across high-end residential retaining walls, large civil projects and site works most crews will not take on. The bigger and more exposed the job, the more the details underneath matter, and that is exactly where we are at our best.

Questions

Good to know.

What size projects do you take on?
We specialise in retaining wall and site works projects from $30,000 and up. That focus lets us do the excavation, drainage and structure properly and give every job the attention it deserves.
What areas do you service?
We are based in the Yarra Valley and cover Melbourne's east and surrounds, and we travel for larger civil and site works. Not sure if we reach you? Call us and we will let you know.
Do you do the excavation as well as the wall?
Yes. Excavation, cut, site prep, drainage and the wall itself are all done in-house by the same crew. Nothing critical gets subbed out, so the whole job is held to one standard.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. For walls above a certain height or load we work with qualified engineers and organise the permits and approvals, so your wall is compliant and built to hold.
What materials do you build with?
Concrete sleepers, treated timber sleepers and rock walls are the most common. We recommend the best option for your site, the look you want and the load the wall needs to carry.
How long does a wall take to build?
It depends on the size, the site and how much excavation is involved. We give you a clear timeline as part of your scope and price before any work starts.
